Charles Manson is a pretty cool guy, eh gets others to serial kill for him, and doesn't afraid of anything.
Honestly, people treat this guy like he's "so evil". Why? Cause he filled a few people? I guess that makes every soldier in Iraq right now ten times worse. The only difference is his mental state is beyond control to be a lapdog to somebody else. Thats all that pisses people off about guys like Mason. Is he's a free dog. A dog that's not afraid of your newspapers and ill conceived rules.
@PieroAma2010 No, I read an article on the latest physicians' desk reference on NPD, and it says the criterion is not exclusive but shares elements of other disorders, e.g., histrionic, grandiose delusion, and so on. This was a decent video with illustrative examples. Charlie was a "magic man" as one who knew him said. His "rap was solid" and hanging out with him was "an event." He had a sharp mind and liked to show it off, to baffle you with BS and to play the boss. He was multi-dimensional.
he was apoet and music composer- those who understand his acting know what hes talking about- he never got a trial and he got beat up etc -no choice of lawyer just b/c he knows a lot about the underworld of hollywood- when he dies- then the truth will come out- see his interviews with ronald reagan junior-he says what happened there-he was son of unmarried mom-so he went to jail so attorney could say he did his job-if youre poor then tomorrow u could land in jail for life inplace of rich crook
@thyroidman808 most psychopaths aren't criminals either. you only hear about those who are. no one has been explain to me what makes psychopathy qualitatively different from malignant narcissists. both are emotional sadists, unempathic, and obsessed with the maintenance of a grandiose self-image. and many narcissts physically abuse their offspring. so the minute they start killing someone they become a psychopath. that's a pretty muddled distinction.
Well, this man is definitely full of himself. However, I wonder whether narcissists are that explosive, over-emotional and delusional . He may be the most outrageous example, but I wonder whether other similar cases with more emotional stability would represent this disorder. However, I have an empathy for this man because of the way he is being handled with. How would expect a person to behave when he is being told that he is a monster, is asked harsh questions? Even he needs more acceptance
@mjpitche No he never killed anyone...But they linked him to the murders because his group made him out to be some messiah and because of that they hung the murders around his neck and said his infulence caused those murders...The murders were committed to get Bobby Beausoleil out of prison by doing copy cat murders and blaming them on the black panthers...Might have worked if Susan Atkins hadn't run her mouth and got everybody arrested..Watch Mansons interviews..What he is saying is the TRUTH!
@Ansom13 I'm not clear on this. I didn't think he killed anyone either. Does anyone know whether he actually killed someone or did he just ask others to do it?
@MiamiPush2theLimit A murderer?...And just whom did he murder?....I can answer that for you...Nobody...Not one single person did he murder...Charles Tex Watson did 90% of the murdering and the girls did the other 10 percent...Manson killed no one...He's no angel for sure but he's certainly not a killer...They say he ordered them to do it...Well if I tell you to jump off a bridge and you do it out of your own free will is it my fault?....Nope...Your responsible for your own actions.
@PieroAma2010 - Dr. Brunelli, while you are correct that Manson is a dangerous psycopath, his narcissism is dangerously extreme. All narcissists exhibit these same qualities, but are not so extreme and don't necessarily pose a danger to society. A typical narcissist hurts the people he has power over although it's not technically "abuse". Narcissists don't care much about the feelings of others but that won't put them away for life, it just makes them shitty human beings to have to live with.
you don't understand. he says he's the pope, the king, he rules the world, because he is HIS OWN king. we are all binded by morals whitch were taught to us, we live in a society that forces us to follow it's rules. we do not have free will. this man has.
It cracks me up that you people honestly believe this is how he is in real life...Charlie is one of the most intelligent people around although he will never admit to it...He'll tell you he is stupid and crazy and ignorant and you will believe him..He portrays himself as the boogieman because that's what you people want him to be...You have made him a monster so he portrays one just for you...The REALITY is, He's nothing like what you see in interviews...It's a game and your all the contestants.
This compilation of interviews doesn't include the epic answer in which Manson said,"I'm nobody." !
ReplyDelete@JimProfitCat yikes spoken like a psycho fuckhead, were you drunk when you wrote that/ Are you aware of the things Manson did?
ReplyDelete@PieroAma2010 If you are a psychotherapist how come you can't spell? Where'd you get your degree?

ReplyDeletethis is not narcissism, this is either ASPD or delusional disorder! i think you should read the DSM IV criteria for NPD...

ReplyDeleteIf anyone actually watched these interviews, you would see these are responses he gives to idiotic reporters.

ReplyDeleteWell he has a grandiose dillusion of himself. Sounds like classic narcissism to me.

ReplyDelete@Ansom13 He's a monster because he's a murderer. Criminals can be very intelligent. He has no conscience and no regard for other human beings.
